Nightmare
I had nightmare last night that woke me up. It was so scary; it was about the end of the world. I was in my hometown where I grew up. My mother was washing her clothes in the river. And I couldn't figure out where my two brothers were. My father was alive at that point; perhaps he died several years ago. I was worried about my mom because of the strong earthquake. I saw houses burning, including ours, and the mountain went down but the people continued their daily work. To them it was just like nothing happened. Eventually I woke up. Then I said, "Oh! Thank God, it's just a nightmare." Freud would have a field day with that one. But a strict Jungian analysis indicates it means I'm prepared for a new world, and that probably refers to raising baby Kate.
