Big Bang Theory

How did the universe begin? Do you know what most mainstream scientists believe today? The big bang theory of the universe, which says that the entire universe originated about 16 billion years ago from an infinitesimal speck no bigger than an atom -- smaller even, and that it exploded out of this nothingness into being without any cause. Now, just stop and think about that for a minute. Where do they get these preposterous ideas? From fairy tales? There's nothing in experience in this theory. In other words, it's not based on experience because what do you know that originates out of nothing? Nothing.

There are some good alternatives to the big bang theory. One of the most interesting is the steady state theory, which says everything was always here to begin with. Then there's the plasma cosmology theory, which is even more plausible; it says all space is filled with plasma, and that it always was. That is similar to the steady state theory, but with an emphasis on the electrical nature of the plasma in the cosmos.

I love thinking about these things over a nice cup of tea or hot cocoa.

Hello! I saw you on my chatter box.

The universe is so mysterious, isn't it? I love the new footage from the Huble telescope ... unbelievable.

Please stop in again sometime :~)

The universe is indeed very mysterious. I do believe that the creation took place and God created the whole universe...There are a lot of things in this universe that even science can't explain.
