Toothpaste

Hubby is very picky about selecting his toothpaste. He first reads the ingredients before buying it. He wants to avoid using toothpaste with fluoride. Because based on his research, fluoride is harmful for the body especially in the brain and, ironically, the teeth. So he advised me to stop using toothpaste with fluoride too. But sometimes I don't feel like using another brand of toothpaste. Plus, very few toothpaste manufacturers out there don't include fluoride as the main ingredient of their toothpaste. Anyway, I'm trying to avoid the best I could.

Note from Mike: If you think this is puzzling, it's probably because you haven't looked at the research. You probably think, "How could fluoride be harmful if my dentist recommends it?" But stop and ask yourself one question: Before Copernicus, the best scientists all believed the sun went around the earth, so is it possible that mainstream scientists and dentists today might be making a mistake? If you admit the possibility of mainstream scientists making an error, then you have an open mind. You may wish to Googe fluoride and harm and I think you'll be amazed.

hmn.. i did google searching, and here's what i found:
"Fluoride-containing compounds are so diverse that it is not possible to generalize on their toxicity, which depends on their reactivity and structure, and in the case of salts, their solubility and ability to release fluoride ions."
hmn.. thnx for sharing though... i think there is no such thing as super safe nowadays.. everything is toxic; evertyhing is carcinogenic.. research even shows that bottled waters are not that safe... hihihi..
btw. thnx for visitin my site..

This still puzzles me.Some doctors recommend to put flouride even before the teeth of the babies will come out, saying it will make the teeth strong. My husband told me to put it in our baby. i still hadn;t done. So,now i have second thoughts. Thanks for your info, definitely will research some more about this.Ah,so many theories! This really makes me crazy about science!hahahaha!

Too much flouride damages teeth. Too little and you may have brittle teeth. The question is... how much is too much or too little? :P
