Horace
Horace was a poet who had a difficult time walking because one of his feet was bad, so he had to hobble around and sometimes even be carried to where he was going to give his poetry recitals. The fact that Horace had difficulty walking was overlooked by his greatest biographers because at the time of his injury he was not able to write, having succumbed to temporary amnesia. Therefore he never wrote any poems or essays about his difficulty. I like the poetry of Horace and will give you one little example of his work: "A picture is a poem without words." How can you not love a guy like this? And he said this years before cameras were invented. Prescient poet, that Horace!
