This movie is unrated and it’s controversial. The name of the movie is Frontier(s). If you like flicks like Night of the Living Dead (1968) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), I advise you to race full speed to see this new masterpiece of the macabre. The screening at the Village East Cinema in New York City is closest to me and I am going to go check out the movie. The trailer is awesome. I love horror films that are well done. I don’t know about you, but this one looks terrific. This is a horror movie and some of the images as well as the movie trailer may not be suitable for all audiences. Find out if it's near you by checking of these select theater listings in your area. The only thing better than a good horror movie is a good nightmare. The only thing that’s bad about nightmares is that they’re so scary they sometimes wake you up. I remember the horror movies I’ve seen by how effective they were in making me experience the existential angst associated with horror, the same type of angst you get from a nightmare. Well, Frontier(s) looks alarmingly nightmarish, which is why I want to see it. I also like their Web site and think it’s very intelligently put together. You can’t just live your life thinking everything is going to be rosy, because it’s not. You might as well enjoy a good horror film now and then, and that’s why I like this film. It gives me a chance to see the best horror has to offer. After a film like this I usually take a taxi home. I don’t like walking home in the dark after a movie this scary. You’re going to love this one if, like me, you’re a fan of horror. Go see it and let me know what you think. See the trailer first. Want more information please visit their website.
