The Andy Griffith Show

Here's a clip from the Andy Griffith Show. This program entertained generations of baby boomers, including yours truly. In fact, the show was J.D. Salinger's favorite TV program. The mild-mannered sheriff and his bumbling sidekick, Barney, were the perfect comic duo. I still watch reruns of the show and get a laugh and a sense of nostalgia when I do. Probably it is the most loved evening sitcom in the history of 50's television.
