I Have Read the Research

The best way to lose weight is not to cut the fat but the carbs. The diet that I have seen work time and again, and have read research about that is convincing is Atkins. The fear of Atkins is from the misunderstanding of the science. It is incorrect to say that dietary fat causes clogged arteries. It's just not the case. Carbs are the culprit because they operate to raise insulin levels, which in turn packs the fat into arteries. Cutting carbs reduces the risk of heart disease.
