Birthday Girl

My friend celebrated her birthday today. The party is in our apartment. She ordered a Filipino dish. It was quite delicious. We couldn't finish them all. So I let them bring the food back to their boarding house. We had so much fun. We sang along to the video karaoke. And after the party we went for a short walk at the Hudson river. Then we got lucky because the cruise ship was passing by while we were walking. We took plenty of pictures. Maybe I will post it next day.

Good Night Stars

All the glittering points of light in the icy November night spun overhead as the moon rose. The pale white orb sailed high overhead into the starry field, hung motionless for a moment, and then sailed through the sky and set behind the mountains. The singer and the songwriter walked along the path. His heart was frozen in an icy tangle. Three months before he had heard the news about a gold and diamond treasure that had been buried in Indian sacred grounds in the Arctic. Could he tell Rosamond that he was going to be gone for a year searching for that treasure? He had stalled all night, but now he was about to tell her the truth. It was about a map that Larry Thunderbird had given him when they had smoked mescaline last week, a map that purported to show where the treasure was buried. He turned to Rosamond and said, "I have to tell you something." (To be continued.)

How One Book Changed My Life

C_elle_kit_image
It was an old book, a dusty old paperback; the top of the stack on the bedroom bookcase; — and I picked it up. It was improbably entitled Antony van Leeuwenhoek and His "Little animals";: Being Some Account of the Father of Protozoology and Bacteriology and His Multifarious Discoveries in these Disciplines; by Clifford Dobell, published in 1932. That book changed my life. I poured over its pages, its diagrams, its amazing account of how science could peel back the layers of ignorance and reveal the secrets of life. Ever since that day I have been convinced that I myself could also help others in need, the elderly, the infirm, those with mental disturbances, and above all those with nutritional deficiencies. Lately I have discovered that C'elle Client Testimonial stories follow in the same path and illustrate how one person can take a step forward and help themselves and others at the same time. About the Science will explain how stem cells can be collected from woman during their childbearing years, cryogenically frozen and through genetic processes too advanced to address fully here, saved until needed to cure or treat disease for herself or blood relatives. C'elle makes this technology available now. Through cryopreservation and the marvels of modern technology you can take this step and be part of the cutting edge genetic research discovery that can help yourself and others in your family. It's true that stem cell research has been called controversial, but there is no controversy about this process, and it can potentially help billions all over the world. It pays to think ahead and prepare for the uncertainties of the future.

Asteroid Heading for Earth

An asteroid is heading for earth and scientists are worried. Discovered in 2004, a tiny fleck of light among the stars, the asteroid is as big as the Super Bowl. Named Apophis ("The Destroyer" in Greek), is was first thought that it would hit on Friday the 13th, 2029, but more accurate calculations revealed that the hit date is 2036. It may miss earth altogether, but come ten times closer than the moon, lower inside the orbit of communications satellites. If it hits it will deliver the impact of a hundred atomic bombs going off simultaneously. The asteroid is one of many in the solar system, and over the course of thousands of years these impacts are a statistical certainty.

Look Before You Leap

None of my friends uses a map when they drive because they all prefer to use the family car with a GPS because it's easier. They take shortcuts and the map puts them on the road. One of them is even going to Paris and hopes to use a GPS there too. But how can you not love maps? They say that right-brain people prefer maps. There is no controversy about that finding as there is about legal steroids.

Michael Jackson | Biography

I'm going to read a biography about Michael Jackson, a book that will tell me the truth behind the legend, a book that will enhance my ability to understand his life and his relationships, a book that will tell me about his early years, his family, his brothers and sisters, his parents;—and a book that will open my eyes to the creativity that went into his compositions, his music and his phenomenal dancing . . . something I can write home about, something I can tell my friends about;—but most of all something I can blog about here—next time.

Baby Gifts

Since my cousin just gave birth a few days ago, I am thinking of buying her some unique baby gifts. The Web site simplyuniquebabygifts.com has a wide selection that you can choose from. In fact, I am planning to buy a Halloween costume for my cousin's baby. I'm sure she will love it. I also will send a Halloween mask and a hula hoop.

Diabetes | Picamilon

There is a new drug that can fight diabetic neuropathy (nerve disease). Sure, this is a family blog about families and babies and family life and relationships. But too many people are getting diabetes these days. Gary Taubes and others in the know believe it's because sugar and carb consumption is way up compared to past years. This means that picamilon, which can fight diabetic neuropathy, could become a real asset to these families and individuals.

Overseas Mail

I woke up early today because I was working on three priority mail envelops to send to my mother and also to my cousin back home. I was quite busy all day. And I did promise them to send a couple of photos from the christening of Kate. But two months passed by, I didn't do it. I feel guilty. So I decided to finish them all today and send them at the same day. Thank God, I finally did it. Now I can relax and I can do more research about Fenphedra.

Ear Piercing

Finally, Kate got earrings yesterday. I took her to the mall to have her ears pierced. It was very successful, a little heartrending, and scary. She cried a little bit but it's normal for a baby. I bought birthstone earrings for her. They're pretty. Anyway, we didn't stay longer at the mall because there was a fire and we needed to go out quickly from the door. Boy, I was very nervous. I ran fast while pushing the stroller. I saw fire trucks outside and some other policemen. I left the place very quick. It was nerve racking for me since Kate was with me.

Jackfruit

I am craving jackfruit today. I don't know if all of you are familiar with this fruit. But for me it's one of the best fruits I've ever had. It is very tasty and yummy. It is usually grown in tropical places like the Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India and other tropical places. And in addition, like other fruits, it also has some health benefits and valuable nutrients. It is rich in potassium, phytonutrients and antioxidants. There are plenty of benefits from eating jackfruit. Based on the research, jackfruit helps lower blood pressure, cure fever, diarrhea, asthma, cancer, skin problems, ulcers and more. How I wish I could have it now.

Sushi Rice

I just want to share the rice that I love to eat everyday. For me, sushi rice has the great taste. Last time I used to have jasmine rice then I switched to sushi rice. Jasmine rice is good too. But I like sushi more. Maybe I have to stay sushi till I can discover a new one. Hubby is strongly disagree about eating carbo but I couldn't help it. I will follow Atkins diet when I turn to 50 years old, just like him.

The Coolest Features DeskAway

There are three features of DeskAway that can help you get organized. First, they have auto email reminders. If you are like most computer users email is your lifeblood. Businesses rely on email and so do services and personal communications. Email reminders can help you. This is excellent if you do a lot of email. Second, they have very attractive project templates. This is like a clone of another template or list or project header that worked wonders for you in the past and is expected to work wonders again, once you set it up. Well, here they have it already set up for you to use again in your new project, whatever it may be. It's like a widget or gadget that helps you do tasks and stay organized with team members or through individual effort. Last, but not least, they have full export and backup. You can't get any better than that, especially with backups being so critical to all our computer tasks today. This site makes it seamless and easy to accomplish all this, and more. DeskAway is so easy you'll get familiar with it in minutes. It's much simpler than any other interface I've seen, especially those by the big corporations. The user interface is nicely designed with the end user (that's you, of course!) in mind. Give it a whirl and see what it can do to simplify your life today. Remember what Henry David Thoreau said: "Simplify, simplify." He couldn't have been more right, and DeskAway can help you achieve that transcendental goal.

My Lunch

This is what I had for my lunch today. A sautéed shrimp, lettuce salad, chicken in rice soup. Well, actually, it was great. Notice that the salad has tomato and lettuce as well as onion rings. The glass of orange juice is optional. In fact, I really love orange juice. But I only buy it sometimes because some people said that's it's not good for the health. It's confusing but I will do some research about this.

Family Dinner

Because it was Saturday yesterday we decided to have a dinner at the restaurant together with my in-laws. As usual a big grilled branzini fish on the plate of my father in-law. He really loves this restaurant. He said that this is one of the best of seafood restaurant in the greater New York area. But me I'm speechless I couldn't say anything, all I know is I had a broiled pink snapper on my plate with mixed Asian vegetables. Well, maybe he's right. The name of this restaurant is South City Grill here in Jersey City. Maybe someday you would love to try to go in this place. It's just right in the corner of us where we live.

Stationery

I wonder if anyone else shares my love of blank office supplies. I'm talking about office supplies like notebooks, stationery, paper, folders, and all the other things you'll find in a typical stationery store. I love to look at blank notebooks and imagine filling them up with important thoughts and notes. How about you? If you share my enjoyment, please let me know.

Pacifier Recall

In 2000 a recall of pacifier clips was instituted by Rashti & Rashti Inc., of New York, N.Y. because the clips broke and a piece of metal could cause a choking and aspiration hazard. The read the report click here. A few days ago we found one of our child's favorite pacifiers had been chewed to the point where it was ripping. If she had cut through while sleeping she could have choked. We discarded the item and bought new ones. Now we inspect them every time we give them to the baby. It pays to be safe.

Another pacifier recall is described here because the nipple separated from the base.

Why Do We Need Friends?

We all know that we need friends. Why? Because life is boring if we don't have friends. It's very important to have friends that we can share thoughts and ideas with, who can listen to our feelings in time of difficulties, having fun together and most especially a friend that who always is there for you whatever happens. Anyway, I'm so grateful that I have so many friends around me, it makes my life even more colorful. So lets get started to collect more friends around the world. Here's a friendship quote: "May there always be work for your hands to do, may your purse always hold a coin or two. May the sun always shine on your windowpane, may a rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of a friend always be near you, may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you."

Jerry Lewis

The genius of, the pure unadulterated brilliance of, the magnificent genius,—of Jerry Lewis! Look at him in this classic clip. Seeing this clip makes my day brighter. I am a big Jerry Lewis fan and believe he is one of the most talented comedians of all time. He's right up there in my book, with Abbott & Costello and Steve Martin and a host of other top names.

Stressful Job

I can't deny that I really get stressed about blogging. Chasing opps from triple P has never been easy for me. It's just by luck. Even sometimes, I keep refreshing my browser there's no chance to get it. It's frustrating. I spend a lot of time at my computer because it's my daily routine to drop the EC everyday. It's a lot of work and time consuming too. But there's no way to stop this job because I am staying home taking care of my big honey. So while I am watching her at the same time I am blogging. Anyway, I'm still thankful that blogging opportunities exist today, it's a big help for me.

Best Halloween Costumes

I have always enjoyed adventure and so the life of an adventurer appeals to me. I was thirteen when I read Treasure Island and I loved the story of the pirates. Then I read Rafael Sabatini's Captain Blood, also about pirates, and I dreamed of becoming a sailor and sailing the high seas, maybe meeting pirates. In some of these frequent dreams I also became a pirate or associated with pirates. This is why when Halloween rolls around every year I remember the green pirate costume I wore when I was nine and I think what it would be like to wear those types of fantastical and colorful halloween costumes again. Coupon Code: PPP05BLOG2008 to get 5% off until October 10th, 2008 would help anyone who visits the site. For more data on the latest breaking news on the costume fashions for this season and for costume news in general, visit the Web site blog.halloweenadventure.com and enjoy the discussion and stories. Halloween Costumes are more than kids' fun, they are fun for the whole family. When a child dons a costume, either in play or for Halloween, the entire family becomes involved in his make-believe world. Pirate Costumes can lead to a whole new adventure for Junior and for Mom and Dad. This Halloween why not take the plunge and do it right.

Nastia Liukin 2008 Beijing Olympics (Gold Medal)

I watched the replay of the Nastia Liukin 2008 Beijing Olympics yesterday. She really did a great job. She is very amazing girl. She won the gold medal and she deserves it. Her dad is the coach of her. He was a gold medalist too few years ago. Well, the funny thing is some people reacted when she kissed her dad on the lips. It's not a big deal anyway because it's a Russian culture to kiss their parents on the lips.

Best Host Rating Site

All, or almost all, the readers of this blog are family oriented individuals who have kids or who are raising a family. Many of them work from home in an Internet business of some sort. This means that they will often need to have information about the Internet or about the latest technological advances in software and hardware. So web hosting rating is something that can help you get up and running with a good company that can host your Web site. If you're looking for a new Web hosting service, we recommend webhostingrating.com for the latest news and info about what's hot and what's not in Web hosting services and Internet service providers. From this page you can find the reviews of the popular Web hosts that you might wish to try.

Ice and Rain

In the north and in the regions of the arctic in the north or Canada there is a weather pattern known as arctic ice and rain that permeates the forest with a cold breeze for four or five hours each winter and freezes all the birds in the air. When this hits the birds are frozen solid and cannot fly. Five thousand penguins and 400 eagles and over 20,000 turns are affected each year and frozen in flight, with their wings icy and immobile. The birds usually tumble to the earth and when they approach the earth some of them fall against rocks and shatter like broken glass. A few of them are lucky enough to thaw out on the way down and fly off to safety.

Sunsets in Brazil

The sunsets in Brazil are reputed to be among the best in the world and I remember that the equator goes through the country and bisects it in two. The only people to live in the Amazon 3,000 years ago were fed by the stream which today is the largest river in the world. Those families who survived today used a memory stick.

The Anxiety of Infuence Book

Today, I went to the bookstore to pick up the book that I ordered last week. It's a wedding anniversary gift to my hubby. And he really loves books, so I decided to give him a book. Actually, I got the idea from his amazon wish list. But unfortunately, amazon didn't have it. He was very excited when I handed it to him this afternoon. I don't have any idea about this book. Well anyway, I'm sure he will tell me the story very soon. (Note from Mike: This book basically says that artists copy from others who have gone before them and reformulate their predecessors work in fashioning their own.)

Internet Services Provider

SSH Client is a term known to all experienced Internet users. Pragma Systems provides remote access management, software, and other Internet services for most of the Fortune 500 companies, including Dell, Target, Intel, IBM, Sony, Coca-Cola, Boeing, HP, and Bank of America. Shouldn't you consider Pragma when your company needs the best?

Charise Pempengco Live

You've seen Charise Pempengco perform in front of an audience on television, but have you ever seen her sitting in a guitar shop just strumming a guitar, as if she were a customer who wanted to buy it, trying out the sound of the guitar and then starting to hum and sing along until she plays the entire song, while a clerk stands off camera watching and growing increasingly amazed at what he's hearing. Enjoy!

The Best Amusement Park in New Jersey

Every summer, like clockwork, our neighbor Warren would take his family to New Jersey by truck (he drove a Ford four-door pickup truck) for a vacation, leaving behind all his cares and responsibilities and getting away from it all by the beach. We followed him one year and found that he went to Morey’s Piers and then to a number of locations in New Jersey that we had never seen before. The weekly specials that Morey’s Piers offers were a big draw for him and should be for anyone who likes a good vacation deal. Morey’s Piers is an ideal spot for a New Jersey vacation. They have a nice Web site full of interesting info where people who like to travel can discover hotels and motels in Wildwood. In fact there are so many nice resorts in Wildwood NJ that it sure helps to have a Web site to find them all. Warren was serious about his annual family beach vacation, and we picked up the idea from him. When he goes back next year he's going to take our dog with him because he found a nice hotel that accepts dogs as pets, and we will come down later and meet him on the beach. We love planning trips together now, and the Web site makes it all that much easier.

Filipino Wunderkind

Here is fifteen-year-old Filipino wunderkind Charice Pempengco singing a duet on TV with a famous singer. She sings like a professional, she dances, and she has attitude to spare. You will love her. She is the Philippines answer to Britney Spears. She has visited the United States and is probably the youngest famous singer in the Philippines today. She's been performing since she was a toddler, and it shows in her audience rapport and comfort onstage.

Great Fashion / Social Networking / Gaming

It all began in Monte Carlo in the summer of a year that seemed like it would never end, the year 2006, when all my energy and time was spent as a beachcomber and going to casinos and living the life of a true vacationer. And it was while in Monte Carlo that I fell in love with fall and with fashion. In the fall the weather breaks and the sun is less daunting and all the pretty umbrellas on the beach are up at five in the morning and the fishermen come down to the sand with their nets and the girls think about getting out of bed and about what they will wear that day. The fashion in Monte Carlo is like nothing else in the world, and once you are touched by the fashion bug, as I was, you can never be the same againh. When I got back home to the United States I was disconsolate, I needed something to revitalize me, and I wanted to go back to Monte Carlo, but I could not. Lucky me, I discovered something almost as good, but better in its own way, and I'm referring to none other than StyleHop, a new Web site that lets the fashion conscious find the fashions they want at a price that bests the market price. But wait, it gets better, much better. I told you I was a girl who was spoiled by the fashionista in Monte Carlo — and once you experience the bewildering array of different styles in that seaside resort you can never see the world of dresses, tops, blouses, gowns, shoes, and accessories the same way again. I never could. So this new Web site saved me from the doldrums that can set in when you're removed from the fashionable and the famous. The site not only has shopping capability but most important it lets you become one of the fashionista by playing games (all the games are fashion games) and by voting on fashions that you think are chic and glamorous and charming.

Chicken Soup with Rice (Pospas)

We went to the Pediatrician of Kate last Friday. I was asking her about table food for my Big honey. And she suggested that we make chicken soup with rice. I never made this before but I used to eat it at the cafeteria. So this afternoon, I tried to make quite a bit. I put a little rice in the cooking pot and the chicken. I boiled it until it got tender. Then I added a half teaspoon of sea salt and scallion. I stirred it for a couple of minutes. And after stirring, I took it from the stove and served it to my big honey. She loves it even though the ingredients are not complete. I think I'm going to make it again next week with more complete ingredients.

Euro Sham Cover

I went to Macy's the other day to get a Euro sham cover. I spent an hour looking for it. Then I finally made a decision to buy the three covers. But unfortunately, it didn't fit, so I returned it yesterday to get my money back. I think I have to make it by my own because I already did research online about this but it turns out there's no compatible cover I can find. Actually, this sham is one we need for our Pottery Barn couch. And I need a cover for it or else it will get dirty. I don't really know where I can get this.

Save Your Life and Your Loved Ones

C_elle_kit_image
Jackie Kennedy died from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, one of a myriad of diseases that can be treated with a new therapeutic methodology unknown only a few short years ago. Medical science is leaping ahead with stem cell research, and today women can obtain their own stem cells and collect them to be saved for future use with a system made available by C'elle
that is easy to use and promises the potential to cure many diseases. This technology can be used to cure the diseases in the woman herself or in her blood relatives. A C'elle Client Testimonial explains more about how it may help when disaster strikes. About the Science describes the new technology in more detail. You can even obtain your C'elle for a rather low price now, much lower than it was only a year ago. Once the cells have been collected they will be stored and held in reserve for the time you might need them. Then medical professionals may be able to use those cells to manufacture antidotes and genetic cures to help with various diseases that anyone might be susceptible to. This is the future of medicine available today.

Norman Mailer's Sense of Humor

You have to love this clip of Normal Mailer for one very important reason and that has to do with his sense of humor for in this debate he is under constant pressure from women on all sides and adversaries on all sides who are trying (literally or figuratively) to tear him limb from limb in front of a wide audience; and there are few (I say this from experience) very precious few people who could maintain their cool and be calm when being attacked in such a situation, but Normal Mailer does it and comes out with a joke and laughs not only at his adversaries but also at himself, and that, I submit, is the sign of power that Nietzsche talked about when we wrote about the Übermensch.

Been in a Car Accident?

All night while out dining with family and friends you've been in your own world, thinking and musing about that car accident you had two years ago, an accident where you were not at fault but where you had been hit from behind by another driver. You had your car repaired, but it crossed your mind to wonder whether you have incurred any diminished value because of the accident. The simple answer is that your car is worth less (even though you had it repaired!) than before it was in the accident. And not only is it worth less, this "diminished value" as it is called can be recovered from the other party's insurance company. You could hire a professional firm to obtain this recovery for you. But first you'll naturally want to find out how much you might recover. Now you can get a complimentary diminished value estimate of your vehicle from Advocate Auto Claims, simply by clicking on the above link.

Bumping Into People in the Park

Why did you think I wore this outfit, for my health? I wore it obviously for the purpose of making myself cooler on a hot August night and walking out in the moonlit air along Franklin Street. I was hoping to stop and have a chat with you about that vacation we had discussed — the vacation to Bermuda. I've had it on my mind for some time and I felt that if I wore this outfit I would fit in seamlessly with the partygoers who strut their stuff along Franklin Street and in Franklin Park at all hours of the day and night. This way we could remain rather unobserved as we discussed that vacation. I am curious about the photos you took of Reynolds Gorham.

Alpha Waves

Taking relaxing breaks between jobs produces alpha waves in the brain and these are waves that can help keep a person's mind on the task at hand and lead to a more relaxed state where delta and gamma waves come into the picture (although delta waves are usually reserved for deep sleep), and if enough alpha waves are produced then a person generally feel relaxed with the world and needs no other mental or emotional input for the day or even the week; because alpha waves are the kind of eaves the brain produces to say to you, "Thank you and good night."

New Sproutwells Episode

The sproutwells came to town with good intentions, hoping against hope that they would be accepted as the fun vegetable family of the year, never realizing that a vegetable is a difficult thing to be in a world ruled by humans. And yet the video demonstrates that there is humor to be found within even the vegetable world. The character I find most intriguing is the dog. Although he never speaks he has a rebellious attitude. The episode starts to get interesting when the mother enters and demands obedience from her child. You may obtain the link for the Sproutwells video by embedding it in your blog. The story ties in with the launch of a new Web site that lets you earn points for your purchases on some food sites. Freshfunds.com is a point gathering system that allows users to use points for various charitable, social and commercial purposes.

Ladytron | Seventeen

Ladytron is a band from the 1990s and consists of three Bulgarian girls and a boy who make trance music that can repeat a riff for more than three minutes and their lyrics usually consist of frumpled frank musings on the meaning of being a girl in an all-boy world or the incisive truth in a cycle of tests that leave the reader and auditor spent with exhaustion and feeling like you've woken from a Normal Mailer nightmare and are looking into the face of Vietnam. Don't miss this group.

Lab Interior Design

Lab Furniture is quite frankly my favorite kind of furniture. Forget big comfy couches and throw pillows. What I like, even in my living room, is a work bench. I like a nice formica table top. I like a flask holder. And I like a chemical cart. Nothing says high tech like nice lab furniture. Show the world you're a 21st century kind of person. And if you actually have a lab you'll love these guys.

The Flintstones

You gotta love this video clip of the beginning theme song from the TV show, the animated cartoon The Flintstones, one of my favorite shows when I was a kid and one of my favorite TV shows to reminisce with because it captures all the camaraderie of family life with Fred the bumbling husband and Wilma his beautiful and savvy wife and Barney the friend and Betty the wife and then Pebbles and all the rest, the show being kind of like the Honeymooners only in animated form and set in the Stone Age.

Manage Your Human Resources

The Web site iEmployee is aimed at making you happy no matter what your frame of mind and no matter how large your company and no matter how many employees you have to manage. Its human resources management tools are extraordinary and beyond what you'd expect in software that is so effortless to learn and use. From time sheets and time cards to payroll services and project tracking, this is the software that will make your life easier.

Flying Down the Highway

Grateful Dead playing "Goin' Down the Road Feeling Bad"; one of the most amazing songs they ever recorded. If you haven't listened to this song in a while I suggesting dropping a tab of your favorite nutritional supplement and kicking back and enjoying it the way it was meant to be played, that is, loud enough to wake the dead. "Your love for me has got to be real." Terrific lyrics and terrific personality in the singing by Phil Lesch, who is generally considered a funny singer because he's got such an ordinary guy's voice. In actuality his ordinariness can be transmuted into the most plaintive and soulful sounds. Gosh, I oughta be a music critic, huh? Just kidding. Enjoy!

Road Chase

Movies require action and the best kind of action according to Marshall McLuhan is a car chase. Any kind of chase works well in movies but the kind that works best is a car chase. This is because as Americans we love cars and people love cars all over the world. Cars are powerful. Cars are beautiful. Cars are sexy. And it never hurts to have an accurate online auto insurance quote, especially if you're making a film and plan to wreck six or seven vehicles during shooting.

Jimi Hendrix Experience

You can't say you know music until you've heard Jimi Hendrix and his classic Experience. Here we have the song recorded in a small club in the early 60s and no one played it better. Notice his relaxed work on the guitar. Jimi Hendrix lived in Greenwich Village near Sixth Avenue, near where I get off the bus hundreds of times a year. It's a nice neighborhood but very bustling. You can't relax there. Yet he managed to create great music and find his center. How did he do it? Artistic brilliance and the power of youth. Long live the Jimi Hendrix experience!

My Entercard

I can't believe I dropped 900 EC today. Boy, I was tired, my hands and fingers were aching. I hope I can have good traffic tomorrow, so that all my efforts will pay off. I started doing this 2 days ago, so far so good. But I was still wondering about my other blog, my real rank didn't change. Only one of my blogs is doing great. Sometimes, the real rank is very confusing. I can hardly understand. I will read a book about it later this week. The book is entitled "How to Relax While Working Online In a High Pressure Environment Where Everything Seems to Go Wrong on a Daily Basis" by Harold P. Flebber. In case you don't know, Flebber is the best-selling author of a book entitled, "I Don't Know."

My Dream Car

Here we have used car dealerships with a difference. This site, www.auto123.com, allows you to virtually test drive your dream car from home, sitting at your laptop or desktop computer. The online interface is amazing and shows just what you want to see, the specs and the details of each car. My favorite of course, being a James Bond fan, was the the 2008 Aston Martin DBS, a car that outclasses all those other stodgy sedans you might be thinking of picking up for under $250,000. With a sticker price high enough to give even Donald Trump pause (well, maybe not Donald) this car has a superfast acceleration and optimal road control. In fact you won't find a faster car, except maybe the Ferrari. Visit auto123.com to try your hand at the drive, rate and fly contest. You'll be glad you did.

Harmonics

Harmonics refers to a musical scale that deals with the way notes are arranged. If you wish to see harmonics in action, listen to some good bands and notice the way the voices blend together. The Supremes, Diana Ross, Carly Simon, and the Waverly Brothers were some of the masters of harmonics. Today harmonics is a lost art and hip-hop and rock artists rarely consider good harmonics. The sad part is that harmonics could help music regain some the lost splendor of a bygone era and recover the sparkle it had and the wonder it provided for millions. The following video has terrific a capella harmonics and harmony.

Ovation Credit

Look, credit repair is not as difficult as it may seem. You can do your own credit repair and even fix things without professional help, but why not make your life easy and decide to repair credit with some professional expert assistance. If you fix credit the professional way you're liable to save time (and time is money). Moreover, you're apt to get the job done right the first time. The experts know what to say and who to say it to. They know how to approach each of the three major credit reporting bureaus. They go beyond getting you a free yearly credit report and they look at the factors that make up your credit score: payment history, debt balances, and number and type of creditors and credit inquiries. So, if you want the best, use a professional and your credit report will have a glow that will attract lenders to you like flies to honey.

Science and Magic

The long running battle between science and magic touches off animosity and sparks of hostility between those who favor one or the other. Magic, however much it may try to wrest truth from the vast array of tricks it has up its sleeve, cannot hope to compete with science, with its rigorous lab tests, scientific method, and proofs. And yet something of the spirit yields to no one and nothing and inheres in magic more than science. No one knew this more than Carl Jung, whose lifelong interest in alchemy was a testament to the continuing power of magic.

Good Morning

It's another beautiful morning today. We're getting ready to leave to see the therapist of my Big Honey Kate. Well, Tuesday is one of our busiest day of the week. Because Kate has three therapist of the same day. But it's wort it. They really helps her. I can tell that she is really improving a lot. It's wonderful to see her when she is growing up. I know that sooner she will be walking and talking. Hmmm, I can't wait to happen. Anyway, here is the proverbs of the day: "If one does things hastily he will make a lot of mistakes - he will need to spend a lot of time correcting those mistakes later." Have a great day!

Best Dymo Label Maker

You're up at the crack of dawn to get the kids ready for school! The sun isn't bright enough at this time of day for you to see very clearly in the kitchen and you can't make out which school pail is Debbie's and which is Todd's. You hate switching on that fluorescent light because it makes you squint when you wake up. If only there was a better way! Well, now there is. The DYMO Labelmaker helps the disorganized get organized and helps the organized person stay organized. The Dymo label maker is perfect for churning out, in seconds, labels that can help you (and your entire family) stay on top of things. The labels this device makes are crisp and clear and visible even in low light situations like your early morning romp through the kitchen looking for those lunch pails. With a Dymo label, you'd have no trouble spotting which was which, and because Todd has to leave half an hour earlier, you'd hand him his pail and then know the other one was Debbie's. But that's only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Dymo label maker. When Todd and Debbie get to school they'd find their lunch was labeled. Todd's book report (which he has to turn in to Mrs. Warbash, a very demanding instructor) would be nicely labeled with a Dymo self-adhesive label, and Debbie's gift for old Mr. Hamerton would have a label saying "Thank you for a wonderful year!"

My Friend

I treated my friend today to have a dinner in the restaurant. She is very kind and very nice to us. I've known her almost 4 years now. She is one of my closest friends here in our town. She's always willing to listen to me and give some advice about family. I really feel comfortable with her wherever we're going. We give and take and vice versa. I am very lucky to have a friend like her. She is one of the best I've ever known. I'm so grateful and blessed to have her.

Boots

The winter is the time for boots; in fact, in Macy's they don't even have boots on sale in the summer, or just one or two pairs. Can you believe it? Yet boots are a fashion statement any time of year, even in the summer. I come from a long line of fashion conscious people who love the whole idea of owning multiple pairs of shoes and boots, boots for work and boots for play, boots for sun and boots for inclement weather; in short, boots for all occasions. I sure hope that the silly prejudice against selling boots in the summer fades away, but I have a feelings it won't, not for a long time. If you agree that boots are a definite fashion statement and should be sold even in the summer, please comment below.

Wireless Stereo Speakers

I met Sean "P Diddy" Combs once in California. He was backstage in his green room before an appearance on the Tonight show. He was surrounded by aides but looked relaxed and happy. Now I learned that he bought two pairs of Outcast speakers. If they're good enough for the king of hip hop, I say I have to try them myself. Visit the site and check out your favorite Outcast speaker from their terrific selection. You know music is essential to a party. We always play Led Zeppelin, and with Zep you have to play it loud. The neighbors always complain too. With the Outcast wireless speakers (did I mention they're wireless!) we'd be able to move them wherever we wish. I'm not too worried about radiation, even though I always keep my cell phone off. These speakers aren't going to be up against my head, after all.

Malunggay Vegetables

Maybe not everybody knows about malunggay vegetables. Well, malunggay is a green leafy vegetable too. It has tiny leaves but is full of nutrients. According to some other researchers, malunggay contains the phytochemical niaziminn, found to have molecular components that can prevent the development of cancer cells. The edible parts of malunggay (leaves, pods, and flowers) are served with meals or converted to a powder, used as a food supplement. But not only that, malunggay is also good in chicken soup, and fish. I hope to consume more malunggay soon.

Summer Treat

I personally would not try Akavar. I prefer a natural lifestyle. In fact, our blogs all talk about a natural approach to diet and exercise. The way to lose weight has been amply explained on topformsecrets, our health blog, and in other posts on this blog too. For all those wishing a great summer treat that is good for you, we recommend Swiss cheese. Not only is it good for you, the saturated fat is also good.

Luggage Source

The web site of Johnston and Murphy is one of the best places to find leather accessories that you can trust. They have a wide selection, from leather wallets, passport cases, computer brief bags and luggage. They also offer discount prices. I think the computer brief bag is the perfect gift for my friend's birthday next week. She always travels from place to place. I know she needs one. I'm going to order this before her birthday comes.

My Fingers are Aching

Definitely my fingers are aching today. Dropping 300 EC (if you don't know what that is, don't worry; I'll explain it in another post) has never been easy for me. I'm still working on perfecting a method of dropping fast. I have some techniques and ideas but I'm still working on it. I want to finish this all today before the weekdays comes. I admit that I'm not an expert in this field. I think I ruined my hands. I'm suffering from my carpal tunnel syndrome. I need to rest both hands tomorrow. My poor hands deserves a rest too. So does Big Honey and everyone I've been moaning to about this problem. You can relax with this video.

Weight Lapband Loss Surgery

JourneyLiteSM surgical center offers lapband surgery, a type of weight-loss surgical procedure or operation. This quick-fix weight-loss surgery is claimed to be effective as a method of treating obesity. Those considering surgery will always, hopefully, weigh the relative advantages and disadvantages first. Physicians are required to disclose the risks of complications to you in advance.

No Script

Last night my friend was giving me some tips about dropping EC. One of them is installing No script in Firefox. No script is one way to prevent annoying pop up windows and download the sites quickly. But I didn't realize that it might change everything even in my blog. So when I tried to open my blog some of my widgets were blocked from the no script. I was nervous because when I tried to create a post I didn't see the compose. It took me an hour to figure it out. The bad thing was I accidentally closed the site where I got the tips. I didn't finish reading the entire procedure. I restarted my computer hoping it would be back to normal again. But it's just the same thing. I left my desk for awhile wondering what to do next. Then finally I resolved the issue. Thank God. It's really a pain in the neck.

Lifelock Helps with Identity Theft

Prevent identity theft with lifelock. As you probably know, the U.S. Department of Justice charged 11 people in the largest identity theft case on August 5, 2008. Those indicted were charged with theft of more than 40 million credit and debit card numbers. The problem is that credit bureaus and credit card companies are not proactive enough in helping consumers deal with theft when it occurs. They do not work with companies that attempt to help people whose credit is stolen. Companies like LifeLock are calling upon the Justice Department and demanding that it take another look at the situation. It's fine to arrest people, but more preventative measures must also be taken to stop these crimes from happening before they start. Many people are rightfully worried about identity theft. But not me. The fact is, I wish someone would steal my identity. Then I would feel loved. As it is, no one seems to want to be me; even me sometimes. But I know that there are people out there working on taking the identities of other people and that is something that should be prevented, if possible, before it happens. Now is the time to prevent it, before the identity thief strikes. I wounder what it would be like to lose my identity. Would it feel like amnesia? Would there be two of me? You may wish to visit LifeLock for the answer today.

Number 8

Do you know that number 8 is my lucky number and a favorite one? Yes, I consider number 8 is my lucky number because I like it. I know today is not my best day but since today is August 8, I tried myself to feel lucky, hehehehehe. I didn't have a chance to go out. I felt sorry for Big Honey because I know she loves to be out. Anyway, she had fun today because she was able to play with her new friend. I will try to bring her to the playground tomorrow.

Sproutwells Video

Visit and share the accompanying sproutwells video link on your own blogs and feel free to copy and paste the link. It is a fun video and a fun topic about a speaking vegetable. If I was a vegetable I would be a sweet potato. Now that's a smart choice because smart people don't eat too many sweet potatoes (they're too high in carbohydrates) so I'd survive longer. The more people learn about vegetables the better. Kids need to make friends with their vegetables. The Sproutwells can encourage kids to learn more about this nutritious food. In fact the more I learn about vegetables the more I like them. They aren't so sweet as fruits, but they pack a bigger nutritional wallop.

Fine Weather

There is nothing nicer than slipping into a day that embraces you like Mother Nature, a day that begins early, and a day with fine weather. This is my type of day. But there are people who prefer rain (Woody Allen, for example) and people who like cold weather; though I do not know why they feel this way. The vast majority of people are like me and love fine weather. If you prefer cold, or rain, or snow, please let me know in the comment below this post; and also please in a word or two tell me why.

Decision Logic is the Right Choice

The importance of restaurant profit and loss statements cannot be overestimated, especially today with the rising rate of inflation driving the economy this way and that. Decision Logic is the company that can make your restaurant sizzle and sparkle — in the financial arena, that is. If you're in the hospitality industry, this is the proven enterprise management system that can take you up a notch and boost your profitability, always the bottom line. But even more importantly, they'll do the grunt work, they'll crunch the numbers, and this will allow you to focus on the fun stuff — including dealing with customers and all the rest. The friendly experts at Decision Logic know what it takes to analyze the figures and tabulate the data that you need to streamline operations and increase efficiency. They'll hand you an executive summary that will make you feel like the Napoleon of the hospitality company you run or manage. Give them a visit and you'll see the difference they can make.

Trench Warfare

Every once in a while I like to research something I know nothing about. One of those topics, which can affect any family, is trench warfare. The term trench warfare is one which many people today do not know, but it is one which was very popular during the Second World War. It involved trenches being dug and soldiers fighting from them. This could affect many families because their sons would be on the front lines fighting for their lives from the trenches, which is why it is relevant to understand this type of warfare, a method of fighting that has been superseded by helicopter and mortar attacks.

Cook and Invest | Game Fun!

Order Up! Trailer will introduce you to one of the coolest games ever. You play the role of the chef in the game as well as the entrepreneur. Use all your gaming skills to both cook and invest. Doesn't this sound like fun? Can you cook eggs, make a sandwich, and serve customers, all while investing in nearby real estate? Who ever thought you'd have such a busy and interesting life. You might be the next Donald Trump of restaurants and the next Martha Stewart of cooking all rolled into one. Your friends can play too, and then you can compare notes. This will keep you and the entire family occupied for hours on end. What a game to bring home to the family and what a terrific diversion from the world you live in. In fact, this may be the best game we've seen all year. And suitable for kids too.

Busy Day

I'm quite busy today because honey bear is not here to help my house chores. I have to do this alone. Besides, the trainer is coming over at 11:00 am. She visits us twice a week (she's from Czechoslovakia) to teach Kate gymnastics. And I have to do some errands before this lady comes. I'm out of my mind. I didn't know what to do first. Maybe I have to give a bath to Big Honey first then I will do the rest later. How I wish I had plenty of time, then I can finish everything. I hate to think that I have some work left undone. Oh, lifffffffe.

PDA Scholars Laarni vs Poi

One of my favorite shows to watch is the PDA realty show. Because I love to see the scholars here making good progress in singing. I know it's so sad to see them in every gala night that one of them will be expelled from the Academy. But it's a part of the competition. Anyway, here's Laarni and Poi for their showdown last week. They are all great singers. I wish you all the best. I will record the show and watch it later if I have the time or if I am so inclined (which is unlikely, given what I have to do), and I hope to see my favorite win.

Online Shoes.Com Coupons

I know most of us are trying to save money by shopping as carefully as possible. Like me, I always try to look first for an online coupon code before going to shop. Why? Because today every penny is worth it. We all know that our economy is getting weaker. The price of gasoline is very expensive. By the way, honey bear was thinking yesterday about buying new shoes for his teaching job. And I would like to surprise him by buying them. I will use the Shoes.com coupons for this purchase. I’m sure he’ll be ecstatic to hear about the surprise. I think Shoes.com is the perfect place to find the best quality and footwear at affordable prices.

Anyway, I’m so glad that there’s a reputable site that provides online coupons. The site Savings.com is the leading online coupon site because they really help people to save money everyday. They offer the best collection of coupons available online to help you find the best savings opportunities. From hugh and major purchases, like desktop computers and jewelry, to electronics, toys and gifts - they help you search for the best deals available on the products and services you want. It’s great, right? Plus they also offer free shipping coupons. Better check this out while the deals are fresh and save more money today.

Banana Puffs

Kate has now started eating finger foods. It's funny to see her for the first time picking the banana puffs. It's so cute. I put her in the feeding chair and let her try our table food. She loves it. She is very attentive. She is always looking at what's in my hand, trying to eat what I eat. But it's adult food and not good for her. Sometimes, I feel guilty when I'm eating my food because she opens her mouth too. Poor Kate.

Air Conditioning Equipment

The air conditioning compressor is something most people would rather not think about. What they would like to think about is how nice and comfy they'll be when the air conditioning is working again. Or they'd like to think about how much money they'll save this year when they get their electricity bill. Or they may be wondering about the quality of the air, the filtration systems in place, and the precision with which they can control the temperature in their immediate environment. All of these are legitimate concerns, but none is as important as the quality of the people you're dealing with. When it comes to air conditioning equipment, especially for a hot climate like Arizona, you want a company that has been around, that knows the ropes, and that can deliver on its promises. There is nothing more important than doing a little research before making a major investment in air conditioning equipment. If you're unsure of the cost, the quality, or the process, give an expert a call. There's no silly question when it comes to air conditioning. Don't know what a compressor is? No need to worry. There are experts who can answer all your questions and give you the facts you need to make the right air conditioning choice. Be cool this summer and for summers to come. Make the right choice, and do a little reading before you buy.

Cell Tower Lease

A cell tower lease calculator can help the savvy investor make the right decision in a volatile market, even when other investors are scratching their heads in bafflement and indecision. The reason for this advantage is that such a device allows the investor to see, with almost scientific foresight, what the future will bring as far as interest rates, investment markups and other variables that go into making a sound financial decision. The market cannot be predicted with any more accuracy than this. In fact, wise investors and cell tower landlords know that the future is even more uncertain than most people realize. This is because a wireless company can send a letter demanding a reduction in rent and threatening to cancel their lease. In the face of such a threat, it would be nice to have an organization or group of landlords who could work in concert or an umbrella agency that could help the landlord bargain for better terms. This is not such a farfetched idea. The cell phone industry may be in its infancy, but already there are three things known about the landlord's plight in this situation. First, the future is open to variables that cannot be predicted. Second, the landlord who has the most information will prevail. Third, the landlord who works as an island will be overcome by the tide of change. The message for 2008 is clear: cell tower landlords need to take stock of their rights and network to obtain the best deals.

Northern Arizona Real Estate

Northern Arizona real estate has a charm all its own, and anyone looking for a cozy place to live will certainly find what they are seeking here. The state of Arizona is known for the vast deserts, the Grand Canyon, and many other historic landmarks. The people are friendly, the scenery is unsurpassed, and the climate is the best in the nation. Why would anyone pass up an opportunity to live in Arizona? The entire state is like a park or a resort. There are so many places to see or go when you are in northern Arizona. The real estate here is also a good investment because there are few other places where there are such wide open spaces. This makes prices optimal for investing. More than that, though, the location is unique. Neither New York nor Denver nor LA can offer anything quite like Arizona. When you live or work here, you can take day trips to Monument Valley and all those wonderful locations that you've seen in Sergio Leone Westerns. But northern Arizona real estate offers one other exceptional reward, and that is its pristine beauty. The air is unspoiled and the groundwater is pure. The soil is pollutant free. The crops in the area are all of good quality, making the value of the real estate increase at a sharp rate. In conclusion, the smart investor or home buyer, who has a taste for things Western, will be looking to buy and build in northern Arizona this year. It's the place to be for those in the know.

Trees

Joyce Kilmer wrote a nice poem about trees. "I think that I shall never see, a poem lovely as a tree." And so on. Joyce Kilmer was a man. His real first name was Alfred. His full name was Alfred Joyce Kilmer. He was a soldier and was killed at age 31 in the First World War. He should have tried other employment.

Water and Sundry Other Drinks

Water is an essential of life but the funny thing is that you don't ever have to drink water to survive; you could drink orange juice or milk or tea instead. Many people never take a drink of water. They're always drinking some other type of drink. "I find water a waste," says Sally from Hermosa Beach, California. "I figure why not drink something with a punch to it, like lemonade, coffee, or diet Pepsi if I'm going to be drinking. This way I get my fluids and I get something more." The problem, Sally, is that the "something more" you're getting is sugar. And sugar causes cancer.

Saucers that Fly

Flying Saucers! Not many people have been in one. My family and I have been discussing whether we believe in them. The great controversy, of course, centers on whether they really are from alien civilizations or whether they are from Russia or perhaps simply figments of people's imaginations. Carl Jung, the great psychologist, believed that fluing saucers were archetypes. Well, he believed everything was an archetype. But I think he was on to something there.

The Hump Day

Wednesday is considered the hump day because it's the middle of the week. Once you get through in it, you will be thinking of the weekend ahead. I know most of us love the weekend because that's the only time to do bonding in our family. And we can get away from the stressful job. Like this hot summer there's a chance to enjoy the beach with the loved ones. Anyway, here is the proverb of the day: "No matter how good or bad a person, he must still face the everyday problems that confront us all."
