Persona and Pen Names

I have run into some dilution of my persona and publicitywise it would have been much better had I simply dropped my original name altogether. I may still do that in the future although I really am unsure.

On the issue of having a proposal ready to go, it is absolutely essential that you do that. You will get agents asking to see it, so it must be ready to go out by return email. I always make sure that my proposal is ready, or will be ready within hours of my sending any email queries. I always send the queries by emaiul these days, too.
