So Scary

We were both scared when Kate got a cold and a fever the other day. It was her first time to experience a fever. She couldn't sleep for the entire night, catching her breath. It was like a shock for her. She was very cranky and fussy. I felt so sorry for her every time I looked at her. I couldn't stop myself from crying. She was so miserable. But today, she is a little better, actually fine and happy. Thank God, the fever is over. The cold remains but I know that sooner or later it will get healed too. We always keep an eye on her and take her temperature every now and then. She's an only child and very protected by two caring parents.
