I Did It

I can tell that I'm a little braver than my friends because I suffered through an agonizing ear piercing that I did myself. Yes, that's right. I did it myself. I have a pair of stud earrings and I used them to pierce my own ears. I'm telling you I was quite nervous when I pushed that pin into my earlobes, but that didn't stop me. I felt the pain . . . and then I recovered right away. I was so happy after all. I'll never regret what I did, even though hubby tried to prevent me before I started. He suggested that it might be better to go into the mall and let a professional do it. Actually, it's free piercing there when you buy their earrings. But I had the courage to do it myself.
