My Friends from Upper New England
Recently I had a heated debate with my neighbor, Tom, about the value of a Kentucky bluegrass lawn versus a Japanese tea garden. He wrapped his cow in a heated blanket and told me he couldn't stand to see the poor thing shiver during these cold New England winters. I asked him why he didn't get some sheep instead of trying to run a dairy business in Rangeley, Maine. He just looked at me and shook his head.
