World War Two and The French Coast
If the beaches of Omaha could be swept clean of mines then the boys who arrived in the naval vessels and the tanks could have had an easier time on D-Day. The text alert system, which was not used at that time in the way it is used today, also could have helped save millions of American lives and perhaps shortened the war by years. Computers have altered the way we conduct business and also the way we communicate.
