Mom and dad live out in the country as they call it which is in Western North Carolina. I really like being able to go out there and visit for a quiet weekend and I sure do love the barbeque they make out that way! They had a hard time finding the kind of cabin they wanted but they got one just after my dad retired and they’ve been working on adding onto it and fixing it up for the last three years. I helped them with things like researching satellite internet at www.satelliteStarINTERNET.com and talking to the contractors but I’ve been really surprised what a good interior decorator my mom is, to tell you the truth! Living out there wouldn’t be my first choice just because it’s so far away from everything but I do like having a mountain vacation house to go to anytime I want so I guess I can see the appeal. If it makes my parents happy then it makes me happy and that’s the truth!
