Project Runway

One new show that I have recently gotten hooked on is Project Runway, which comes on Bravo. Check your local listings with direct tv spokane. The premise of the show is that they audition tons of clothing designers from around the country and then narrow it down to about ten or twelve contestants. These contestants hosted by Heidi Klum are put to the test in all areas of design. There are challenges that are really hard for some and easier for others and the next week it will be much easier for someone else based on their skills and abilities. Some of the challenges include designing, shopping for materials, sewing and creating entire outfits down to the shoes and accessories. The contestants then have to pick a model that they want to walk to runway in their creation. They have to direct hair and makeup as to how they want their model to look as well. It is really interesting to see what each designer comes up with given the parameters of the challenge. I am always in love with at least one look per show.
